2011 NCWA Scholarship Queen
Alycia Ann McLamb
Congratulations to Alycia Ann McLamb, the 2011 North Carolina Watermelon Scholarship Queen. Queen Alycia is the 18 year old daughter of Paul and Carol McLamb of Clinton, North Carolina. She is a student at North Carolina State University majoring in Agriculture Education and Agriculture Business.
Queen Alycia says that being selected the North Carolina Watermelon Queen is quite an honor and a privilege. She is excited to begin promoting watermelon and its health benefits for the watermelon growers throughout North Carolina and the Southeast. She believes that with her knowledge and passion for agriculture that she will be a great public relations representative for the watermelon community and a good role model to represent the North Carolina Watermelon Association.
